Zaelo Hub — Fintech Marketplace Platform
Gbongos built and operates Zaelo Hub, a fintech marketplace with a built-in escrow engine, digital wallet infrastructure, and a multi-vendor commerce layer. The platform was designed for markets where buyer-seller trust in digital transactions is still developing. The escrow system holds payment until both parties confirm delivery. The wallet infrastructure enables fast, low-friction settlement. The full stack was designed for compliance, security, and performance given the realities of African payment network variability. This is not a completed project. It is a live operation that continues to be developed and maintained by the Gbongos team.
Corporate Network Deployment for a Financial Services Client
Gbongos designed and deployed a corporate network infrastructure for a financial services client across multiple office locations. The scope covered structured cabling, firewall configuration, VLAN segmentation, site-to-site VPN, and endpoint hardening. All network policies were aligned with ISO 27001 control objectives. The project required coordinating on-site contractors, managing equipment procurement timelines, and delivering a live system without critical downtime during the cutover. All three sites went live on schedule with no data loss or service interruption.
E-Commerce Platform Migration for a Retail Client
A retail client needed to move from a legacy WooCommerce installation to a modern, headless commerce stack with custom payment integrations and a rebuilt, mobile-first storefront. Gbongos scoped the migration, built the new stack using Next.js, Supabase, and Stripe, then executed the data migration across more than 4,000 products and 18 months of order history with no data loss. The new storefront reduced mobile page load times substantially and improved the overall shopping experience for end users. The project was delivered within eight weeks from kick-off.
